ACE Interface
In the 1990s, the CDC and Kaiser Permanente conducted a landmark study on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). They discovered that ACEs and psychological trauma are the greatest indicators of later health, safety and opportunity outcomes over the lifespan.
During ACE Interface, a free, 2-hour presentation, you’ll learn:
more about the ACE Study
the impact of stress on the brain and nervous system and how that affects a person over the course of their life
ways to encourage and promote resilience in youth and adults so together we can create a healthier community
This training is appropriate for both mental health professionals and community members.
(Presentations will be conducted via Zoom.)
