Trust-Based Relational Intervention is an attachment-based, trauma-informed approached designed to support the unique needs of children and youth who have experienced early adversity, toxic stress, or relational trauma.
Developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross at Texas Christian University, the TBRI equips parents with practical tools to build connection, safety, and healing through three core principles: Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting.
All caregivers and professionals are welcome, but this session is especially geared towards parents wanting to better understand and support their child’s emotional and behavioral needs.
Registration is FREE and lunch will be provided! Participants will enter for a chance to win a $25 gas gift card.
Register to Jhunixa Salazar at jhunixa.salazar@oaklawn.org.
